Teen Ambassador Program Application
A 16-Week Internship on Community Service
The T.E.M. Teen Ambassadors program is an innovative 16-week internship designed specifically for high school student volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in their communities. This application-based program will select four dedicated teens who will work closely to support fundraising efforts and cultivate strong community partnerships for The Educationalist Method 5019(c)(3).
Throughout the program, students will engage in hands-on experiences that promote servant leadership, focusing on the importance of serving others while developing essential leadership skills. The selected ambassadors will play a pivotal role in planning and executing two key fundraising events for The Educationalist Method. These events will not only raise necessary funds but also foster community involvement and awareness about non profits mission and purpose.
The first event the teens are expected to coordinate will be a "kick-off fundraiser," which serves as a launch pad for the major fundraising initiative for June. This initial event will allow the ambassadors to connect with local businesses and residents, encouraging them to participate and support the mission, funding, and vision of the educational programs offered at The T.E.M. Studio. The teens will learn how to organize logistics, promote a major community event, and engage with attendees, providing them with invaluable experience in project management and community relations.
The latter half of the program, the focus will shift towards the major fundraising event. The ambassadors will collaborate with local businesses, community leaders, and fellow volunteers to develop a comprehensive plan for this significant occasion. They will be responsible for creating promotional materials, securing sponsorships, and ensuring that the event aligns with the goals of The Educationalist Method. By working together, the ambassadors will learn the importance of teamwork and communication in achieving a common objective.
The funds raised through both events will directly benefit the programming and future funding of the T.E.M. Studio, ensuring that the initiatives supported by The Educationalist Method can continue to thrive. This program seeks to instill values of community service, leadership, and collaboration in the participating teens.
Through the T.E.M. Teen Ambassadors program participants will emerge as confident leaders, equipped with the skills needed to drive positive change in their communities. By fostering relationships with local businesses and engaging with community members, these high school volunteers will leave a lasting impact while gaining experience that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
